Kovalam Beach is especially inviting and beautiful these days with white sand and clear water.
There are few people around and keeping a safe distance can be easily done. It is probably one of the healthiest places to be these days. The air is balmy and seems to have the exact temperature for well-being. Not too hot and certainly not too cold.
Plants and flowers are lush, because we had plenty of rain. Nature has taken over in many places and a carpet of green covers the ground. Peacocks, parrots and even a few monkeys have appeared in the forests behind the beach.
Kerala and India have more or less returned to “normal”. Everything is open, even cinemas. And despite popular and very crowded festivals like Diwali in North India, the numbers of covid infections have been declining steadily.
All of us here are well. The combination of living mostly outdoors, healthy food and our traditional medicines obviously have a positive effect. But of course, we are worried about the future. We miss our guests from around the world and really hope to see you all again soon!
Warm regards,
